Jay has been diligently working on the three armies that he currently has of mine. At the moment he is focusing on my Menoth forces, however at the same time he has been painting the Khador army and experimenting with the Skorne forces. I've gathered together some photographs that he has sent me of the work in progress and am posting them here. The photo quality isn't perfect, but since they are from a digital camera, they aren't bad either.
Brent has been working on the Eldar and has a host of guardian's painted up and based with a snow flock that we decided would really show of the blue coloring of the army's armor scheme. Kyle has nearly 200 Ork slugga boys completed! Its amazing how much he has managed to get done in the past few months. He has admitted to me that he is thoroughly sick of painting Ork boyz and once he does the 60 slugga boyz he will be very glad to be able to move on to more interesting models!
A Paladin of the Wall, I love the stance of this model and the blending Jay does on the cloak.
Feora Protector of the Flame, she is my favorite Menoth Caster (both e and p versions), and Jay is focusing currently on painting a list specifically for me to use during my January break from school.
Temple Flamegaurd are Feora's pet troops, and the bannerman is critical to their morale.
The Reckoner is the most fearsome of Menoth's non-character heavy Jacks.
Here a Reclaimer is set to scavange souls from those slain on the battlefield. I love the darker cast to his robes.
The Wracks are the standard one point addon to all Menoth lists to give Warcasters a needed focus boost.
This is the non-traditional color scheme that Jay has come up with for my Skorne army. Morghoul looks very threatening in these colors.
Forward Commander Kratikoff stands on a snow covered boulder in traditional Khador colors.
A Cyclops and Gladiator from the Skorne warbeast stables.
Alexia Ciannor is a feature mercenary for my Wintergaurd deathstar lists.
These models are in process and my appreciation goes out to Jay for allowing me to post them before they have been completed.
